Directions and Details

Arriving From the South

 

  1. Take the NYS Thruway (1-87) to Exit 17 (Newburgh).

  2. Then follow your GPS to weave through rural farmlands and scenic meadows (RT 52 or 300).

  3. Take Bruynswick Rd (7A) north for an optimal Shawangunk Ridge approach

  4. BaseCamp awaits

Parking

Our parking area is for guests only. Please see someone from the BaseCamp Team for overflow areas when needed.


Parking your vehicle at BaseCamp and leaving the property is not currently allowed (We are working on a shuttle - stay tuned).

 

Unattended vehicles will be towed. 

Arriving From the North

 

  1. Take the NYS Thruway (1-87) to Exit 18 (New Paltz) and exit left onto RT 299. 

  2. Take a left onto S Putt Corners Road (Bypass) after going over the Thruway bridge.

  3. Follow your GPS as you weave past scenic orchards and farm stands.

  4. Take RT 44 directly to BaseCamp passing through the Hamlet of Gardiner.

Bathrooms

We have 2 outdoor porta potty units available for guests

Smoking

Please avoid our wooded areas and properly dispose of butts.  We do not allow smoking in our Biergarten patio area.

Pets
Dogs are allowed in our outdoor space only (we love animals but they must be kept outside).


Dogs must be leashed at all times.
Do not leave your dog unattended.


PLEASE clean up after your dog (we have disposable waste bags if you need them).


We are working on a pet relief area - in the interim, please walk your dog on the border of our wooded area as a courtesy to other guests.
